Work Experience

In order to be eligible for Associate Membership of the SIAT you are required to have completed one year's work experience at the accounting technician level. For Fellow membership of the SIAT you are required to have completed a total of two year's work experience at the accounting technician level.

Your work experience can be gained before, after or during studying for the examinations. The experience can be obtained in a variety of business settings - in industry, private or public sector companies. We will also consider work experience gained if you are self-employed.
